Nakheel, the world-leading master developer, is supporting two major sporting events by hosting them on Dubai Islands this month. The Roy Nasr Triathlon will take place on Saturday 21 January while the UAE Cycling Federation’s Dubai Islands Open Challenge race will take place on Sunday 22 January.
Participants in the Roy Nasr Triathlon will compete in swimming, cycling and running in five categories: kids, super sprint, sprint, Olympic, and team. The Dubai Islands Open Challenge (by the UAE Cycling Federation) race will see Emirati cyclists compete in the men’s elite and under 23 categories as they race to qualify for the Alsalam race taking place on 4 February 2023. The planned routes will provide participants with scenic coastal views from Dubai Islands.
