Nakheel is actively involved in implementing various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives within the company and its communities. Nakheel works to fulfil its social responsibilities to staff, residents and customers. Past CSR initiatives include Asian tsunami emergency relief, Syrian refugees winter clothing appeal, support for UAE’s Year of Reading, sponsorship of Dubai Government’s Arabic e-Learning project ‘The Translation Challenge,’ frequent road safety campaigns in conjunction with the RTA, several health check-ups and blood drives, as well as events that promote environmental awareness.
